About your role:
As a Senior Occupational Therapist with Logan Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team (MIRT), you will provide expert clinical services within an interprofessional team focused on intensive rehabilitation in addiction and mental health. You will drive high-quality patient care, participate in service development, and provide supervision and mentorship to less experienced clinicians and students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced occupational therapy (OT) assessments, interventions, and evaluations in line with clinical protocols
- Act as a clinical reference and leader within the MIRT team
- Develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based clinical practices and policies
- Provide supervision, training, and support to HP3 clinicians, students, and Allied Health Assistants
- Lead and participate in quality improvement and research initiatives
About you:
You are a highly skilled and motivated occupational therapist with advanced clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to innovation in mental health rehabilitation. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy mentoring others while driving continuous service improvements.
Your Skills and Attributes:
- Registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA, with a tertiary degree in OT
- Demonstrated advanced clinical skills and independent decision-making
- Strong leadership and supervision capabilities
- Ability to manage complex workloads and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Current Class C driver's licence and willingness to operate a vehicle as required

Logan Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team
The Logan Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team (MIRT) is a specialised mental health rehabilitation service provided in a community setting that consists of a multidisciplinary team of clinicians including medical, clinical psychology, social work, occupational therapy, nursing, and peer support work. The multidisciplinary team provides specialist rehabilitation services to people aged between 18 and 65 years who present with complex mental health needs to address functional impairments secondary to their illness with the aim of maximising the individual's overall quality of life. The team provides services between business hours on weekdays that includes both individual and group programs.
Care provided is consumer focused, trauma informed, family centric, culturally sensitive, evidence based, strengths based, and recovery oriented.
