Your new role:

As an Assistant Finance Officer, you will play a vital part in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial and asset accounting. Your work helps keep our financial systems running smoothly and compliantly. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting general ledger management, taxation tasks, and statutory reporting
  • Assisting with annual financial statements and external reports
  • Enhancing internal financial policies and processes for improved efficiency
  • Responding promptly to client inquiries and maintaining high service standards
  • Collaborating with diverse teams to support effective financial management

About you:

You are a detail-focused finance professional with strong accounting knowledge and a commitment to quality and compliance. You bring technical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving. Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

  • Experience or knowledge in financial and asset accounting, including taxation compliance
  • Familiarity with accounting standards and financial management in the public health sector
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and financial systems
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and provide clear financial advice
  • A commitment to continuous learning and working collaboratively within teams
