Your new role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Educator to lead and deliver high-quality Advanced Life Support/Resuscitation education at QEII Jubilee Hospital. In this role, you will:
- Design, implement and evaluate evidence-based education programs that support safe and effective Advanced Life Support/Resuscitation practice.
- Provide expert clinical education, coaching and mentoring to nurses at all levels, fostering a culture of lifelong learning and professional development.
- Collaborate with Nurse Unit Managers, Clinical Nurse Consultants and multidisciplinary teams to ensure education aligns with organisational goals and clinical standards.
- Lead innovation in education, including the development and delivery of simulation-based learning opportunities.
About you:
You are a dedicated and collaborative nurse educator with advanced clinical knowledge and a passion for developing others. You will bring:
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge and skills in Advanced Life Support/Resuscitation, with proven experience in developing and delivering specialist programs.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, mentor and motivate individuals and teams.
- Experience in simulation-based education and the ability to manage educational resources to deliver innovative, high-quality learning experiences

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
