Your new role:
As a Clinical Nurse within our Colorectal and Colorectal Pelvic Floor Department, you will play a pivotal role in delivering advanced specialist nursing care and clinical leadership for patients with complex needs. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing autonomous, advanced clinical management and coordination of Colorectal/Pelvic Floor patients with complex care needs, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best clinical practices.
- Leading and supporting clinical research activities including protocol implementation, data integrity, and safety event reporting to enhance research outcomes.
- Offering clinical leadership and mentorship, fostering professional development and supporting education within the healthcare team.
About you:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated clinical nurse who demonstrates clinical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to research and education in the specialist field of colorectal and pelvic floor nursing. The ideal candidate will:
- Hold advanced clinical knowledge and experience in colorectal and pelvic floor nursing, with proven ability to manage complex patient care and clinical research protocols.
- Exhibit strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and influence multidisciplinary teams.
- Be passionate about professional development, clinical education, and fostering a culture of evidence-based practice.

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
