Your new role:
We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to provide high-level paediatric services across inpatient and outpatient settings. In this role, you will:
- Deliver evidence-based assessment and intervention in feeding, dysphagia, and communication for paediatric patients.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team across wards and clinics.
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and clinical education initiatives.
- Provide supervision and guidance to junior clinicians, students, and Allied Health Assistants.
About you:
We are looking for a motivated and compassionate clinician who demonstrates:
- Expertise in paediatric speech pathology, particularly in feeding/dysphagia and communication.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage with families, carers, and healthcare teams.
- Proven ability to manage complex caseloads, prioritise effectively, and support safe discharge planning.
- Commitment to service improvement, supervision, and supporting the development of less experienced practitioners.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
