Your new role:
In this role, you will be an integral part of the Adult Community Mental Health team, delivering comprehensive occupational therapy services to support consumers with complex mental health needs. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting detailed clinical assessments and providing tailored therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement client-centered care plans.
- Supervising and mentoring students and allied health assistants to foster professional development.
- Participating in quality improvement projects and research to enhance service delivery.
About you:
You are a dedicated Occupational Therapist who is passionate about mental health and eager to contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment. To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in delivering evidence-based occupational therapy within adult mental health services.
- Strong ability to independently manage a diverse caseload while working collaboratively across disciplines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with consumers, families, and colleagues.
- A commitment to cultural safety, inclusivity, and providing compassionate, respectful care.
