Your new role: 
We are seeking a Senior Speech Pathologist to join the Metro South@Home team, delivering high-quality, evidence-based services to patients in both community and residential care settings.
This is an exciting opportunity to provide expert clinical care and contribute to service development within a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Provide comprehensive assessment, intervention, and evaluation of patients within community and residential care settings.
  • Act as a clinical reference point for the team, providing expert advice and support to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Lead and contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and research activities.
  • Supervise, educate, and mentor less experienced clinicians, students, and allied health assistants.
About you: 
We are looking for an experienced and motivated clinician who is passionate about improving outcomes for patients and supporting a collaborative team culture.
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering complex speech pathology services with a strong evidence-based approach.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across disciplines, patients, and carers.
  • Proven ability to prioritise and manage complex caseloads in dynamic clinical environments.
  • Leadership capability with experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff and contributing to service improvement.

Community and Oral Health Services deliver a broad range of quality community-based care and support services to help people improve and maintain their wellbeing and independence as well as oral health services to adults and children. 
We deliver a myriad of services across Metro South including Hospital in the Home, Rehabilitation, Chronic Disease, Acute Care, Dementia Outreach, Oral Health, and specialist residential care along with delivering numerous other vital community health services. 
Our services are delivered by multidisciplinary teams of nursing and allied health staff with the skills and experience to treat a full range of health needs.
