Your new role:

Join our team at QEII Jubilee Hospital as a Social Worker and help transform patient care through expert support and collaboration.

  • Conduct detailed clinical assessments, provide patient education, and assist with therapeutic interventions and discharge planning in a dynamic, interprofessional environment.
  • Lead clinical education and supervision for students and allied health assistants, fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals.
  • Engage in quality improvement and research activities to enhance service delivery, guided by experienced senior staff.

  • You deliver high-quality, efficient, and evidence-based Social Work services that place patients at the centre of care.
  • You communicate clearly and respectfully, working cooperatively within interprofessional teams to achieve shared outcomes.

  • You're ready to contribute to student education and support service improvement initiatives, or keen to rapidly develop these capabilities.

Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital:

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.

We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
