Your new role:
As an Enrolled Nurse in the purpose-built Amity Ward at Redland Hospital, you will play a vital role in supporting acute and complex care by:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care under the guidance of Registered Nurses, tailored to patients with respiratory, medical, and cognitive conditions.
- Contributing to specialised treatments such as Non-Invasive Ventilation and High Flow Oxygen Therapy.
- Promoting patient safety and wellbeing through strong documentation, infection control, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Participating in a flexible rotating roster, with the ability to work across multiple Bayside Health Service sites as required.
About you:
You are an empathetic and motivated Enrolled Nurse who brings professionalism, initiative, and a patient-first mindset to your practice, with qualities including:
- Registration with the NMBA as an Enrolled Nurse, with medication endorsement and a commitment to upholding the nursing code of conduct.
- Knowledge of acute care and eagerness to grow in respiratory and cognitive nursing.
- A commitment to teamwork, reflective practice, and continuous improvement within a supportive nursing model.
- A focus on delivering safe, compassionate, and individualised care aligned with person-centred and evidence-based approaches.

Redland Hospital:
Redland Hospital is the major health centre for adults and children in the Redlands and Brisbane's southern bayside suburbs. We provide a range of services including emergency care, primary health and minor injury care, acute and subacute medicine, general surgery, maternity and paediatric, mental specialist outpatient and mental health care.
