About your role
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Stradbroke Ward at Bayside Health Service, you'll deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to acutely unwell patients across a range of specialties. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you'll be part of a ward committed to person-centred care and continual professional development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct, comprehensive, and individualised nursing care
- Managing patient assessments, planning and evaluating care with clinical judgement
- Collaborating with Allied Health and Medical professionals for holistic care
- Contributing to quality initiatives and safety improvements
About you
You are a compassionate and adaptable RN with a commitment to evidence-based care and continuous professional growth. You're confident in medical and surgical environments and thrive in a team-based setting where integrity, accountability, and patient outcomes matter.
You will bring:
- Clinical experience in medical/surgical nursing
- Strong skills in critical thinking, communication, and patient advocacy
- Proficiency in or willingness to learn EMR and other IT systems
- The ability to work all shifts as per roster requirements

Redland Hospital is the major health centre for adults and children in the Redlands and Brisbane's southern bayside suburbs. We provide a range of services including emergency care, primary health and minor injury care, acute and subacute medicine, general surgery, maternity and paediatric, mental specialist outpatient and mental health care.
