Your new role:
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead service delivery and improvement initiatives in Child Protection Services across Metro South Health. This role drives integration of statewide initiatives, co-design of services, and delivery of education, training, and governance frameworks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading service development and project management for child protection.
- Co-designing services and education resources with clinicians and stakeholders.
- Providing expert consultation, governance, and operational leadership.
- Representing CPS at local, state, and national forums to drive practice change.
About you:
You are an experienced allied health leader with advanced skills in project management, governance, and child protection services. You thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about improving outcomes for children and families.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. OT, Social Work, Psychology) with registration/membership.
- Proven experience in child protection or complex health service delivery.
- Strong project management, governance, and policy development expertise.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
