Your new role:

As a Theatre Wardsperson at Logan Hospital, you will play an integral role in supporting the Operating Suite by delivering high-quality cleaning services, assisting clinical teams, and ensuring safe patient care. In this busy theatre environment, no two days are the same.

• Perform essential cleaning duties and infection control practices within Operating Suites.
• Assist clinical and medical staff during procedures and with patient care activities.
• Transport, position, and support patients in line with safe manual handling and OH&S guidelines.
• Set up Operating Theatres and operate suite equipment in accordance with surgical requirements.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
