Your new role:
We are seeking motivated Radiographers to join our Medical Imaging team, delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services across a diverse range of clinical settings. In this role, you will:
- Provide radiography and fluoroscopy services in areas including the Main Department, Emergency, Orthopaedics, Gastroenterology, Theatres, ICU, and wards using both fixed and mobile imaging equipment.
- Progress from supervised practice to increasingly independent clinical decision-making as experience develops.
- Demonstrate competence in hospital information systems (e.g. CARPS, ieMR, Powerchart, CERNE RadNet, Impax).
- Participate in shift work, weekend and “on call” rosters is required.
About you:
We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable professionals who are committed to delivering safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Medical Imaging Technology (Diagnostic Radiography) and Licence to Use Irradiating Apparatus issued by Radiation Health, Queensland
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues, patients, and families.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development, service improvement, and supporting the learning of students and junior staff.
