Your new role:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive therapy services within the hospital's occupational therapy department. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting detailed clinical assessments, delivering therapeutic interventions, and assisting with discharge planning within an interprofessional context.
  • Managing your own caseload while applying evidence-based practices under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Participating in clinical education by supervising students and allied health assistants.
  • Contributing to quality improvement, research activities, and the development of clinical protocols.

This role is being filled using a targeted recruitment process. The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
