About the Role

The Clinical Nurse (CN) role provides clinical knowledge, experience and problem-solving skills, expert planning and coordination skills in the clinical management of clients with complex care needs, ensuring quality standards are met.

This role works in collaboration within the Healthcare Team structure and is pivotal in the planning, managing and delivering of addiction specialist nursing care.

The Clinical Nurse (CN) provides direct and indirect care as required and works in collaboration with the Multidisciplinary Team and Team Leader/Nurse Unit Manager and the wider health care team.

The Clinical Unit supports the provision of safe quality healthcare through exemplary clinical nursing standards of practice for the specialty of alcohol and drug use.
