As a Clinical Nurse within the Amity Ward at Bayside Health Service, you play a vital role in delivering specialist respiratory and acute medical care to patients with complex needs. Your role demands a high level of clinical expertise, autonomy and leadership, ensuring quality, person-centred care throughout the patient journey. Key responsibilites include:

  • Providing advanced clinical care and problem-solving in managing respiratory and acute medical patients.
  • Leading clinical decision-making and supporting nursing staff through delegation, mentorship and supervision.
  • Supporting management functions such as rostering, performance reviews and fostering a positive team culture.

Your clinical leadership, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities empower you to work autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic healthcare environment. Key skills include:
