Your new role:
We are seeking an experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialist to join our dynamic team at Logan Hospital. You will play a critical role in providing advanced antenatal care and high-quality clinical services to women and families across our region.
- Deliver expert management of complex maternal and fetal conditions, including advanced diagnostic imaging and invasive procedures.
- Provide comprehensive counselling and antenatal management for high-risk pregnancies.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside sonographers, midwives, registrars, and paediatric subspecialists.
- Contribute to training, research, and service development to support the growth of MFM services within Metro South Health.
About you:
You are a highly skilled and compassionate clinician with a passion for advancing maternal and fetal health. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to excellence in patient care, teaching, and service innovation. You will have:
- Fellowship of RANZCOG (or equivalent), with specialist registration in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and subspecialty expertise in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- Demonstrated expertise in diagnostic ultrasound, invasive procedures, and antenatal management of high-risk pregnancies.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to counsel patients, support families.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, teaching and mentoring junior staff.
