Your new role:
We are seeking a proactive and organised Administration Officer to support patient transport coordination across Metro South Health. In this role, you will:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the patient transport team, managing all incoming and outgoing communications.
- Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to manage bookings for non-urgent patient transport requests, ensuring services are timely and patient-focused.
- Assist with KPI monitoring, reconciliation, and data management by maintaining accurate databases and generating reports as required.
- Provide general administrative support including diary and email management, meeting coordination, minute-taking, and travel arrangements.
About you:
You are a highly organised administrator with excellent communication skills and a strong focus on patient care. You will bring:
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders.
- Proven ability to prioritise workloads, work independently, and solve non-clinical problems with sound judgement.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, financial reconciliation, and report preparation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Word) and experience with RaFT, ieMR, and HBCIS (or the ability to quickly learn).
