Your new role:
As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality physiotherapy services within the General Medicine team at Logan Hospital. You will:
- Deliver evidence-based inpatient physiotherapy to older patients in Acute Care of the Elderly.
- Provide supervision, training and support to junior clinicians, students, and Allied Health Assistants.
- Lead and contribute to service development, quality improvement, and clinical education.
- Apply advanced clinical decision-making and collaborate within an interprofessional team.
About you:
You are an experienced physiotherapist with a passion for geriatric care and a commitment to patient-centred service delivery. You will:
- Demonstrated expertise in physiotherapy for general medicine and geriatric patients, including complex discharge planning.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and with patients and carers.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide less experienced staff and students.
- Commitment to driving service improvement, research and evidence-based practice.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
