Your new role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our Permanent Relief Pool and deliver safe, person-centred care across medical and surgical wards by:

  • Providing evidence-based nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife.
  • Supporting patient care needs, documenting progress, and maintaining accurate clinical records.
  • Adapting quickly to different clinical areas while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Participating in quality activities and supporting a positive team culture across wards.

You are a dedicated and flexible Enrolled Nurse with a commitment to professional practice and patient-centred care, bringing:

  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Effective communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and respond to changing care needs.
  • A commitment to continuous learning, safety, and quality improvement.

Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital:

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.

We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
