Your new role:
As a Solution Architect, you will design and deliver technology solutions that enable Metro South Health to achieve its strategic business outcomes. You will ensure that all designs are practical, sustainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles. In this role, you will:
- Develop and maintain business, information, and technical architectures in line with Queensland Health standards and strategies.
- Provide architectural review, advice, and technical specifications for ICT projects to ensure alignment with enterprise roadmaps.
- Partner with stakeholders and vendors to translate business needs into secure, effective, and innovative technical solutions.
- Demonstrate expertise in solution and technology design, including integration across Information, Application, Security, Infrastructure, and Network domains.
About you:
We are looking for an experienced technology professional with the ability to balance innovation with stability in a complex health environment. You are a strong communicator and problem solver who thrives on collaboration and delivering results.To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- While not mandatory, professional and or tertiary level qualifications in areas such as information technology, project management and enterprise architecture would be well regarded.
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both business and technical stakeholders.
- A proven ability to plan, prioritise, and manage work independently while delivering accurate outcomes within timeframes.
- Sound knowledge of security and risk considerations, including identity and access management, encryption, and secure design principles.

- Digital Health Clinical Consultation Services
- ICT Hosting, System Management and Operations
