Your new role:
Metro South Health is seeking a committed Clinical Nurse Consultant – Haemodialysis to join the Renal Services team at Logan Hospital. This permanent, full-time role provides clinical expertise and consultancy, with a focus on delivering safe, high-quality haemodialysis care. You will provide advanced clinical leadership, support multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to education, research, and service development that enhance patient outcomes across renal services.
In this role, you will:
- Provide advanced clinical leadership in haemodialysis care.
- Deliver safe, evidence-based, person-centred patient care.
- Support and mentor nursing staff through education and consultancy.
- Collaborate with the NUM, CNCs and Educator to improve renal services.
- Lead service improvements, quality initiatives, and research activities.
About you:
We're looking for an experienced renal nurse leader who is passionate about improving outcomes in haemodialysis care and can provide clinical leadership across the service.
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Significant experience in renal/haemodialysis nursing practice.
- Proven leadership skills across clinical care, education, and research.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to safe, compassionate, evidence-based patient care.
