About your role
As an Occupational Therapist with the Southern Moreton Bay Islands Community Partnership Service (SMBI CPS), you will deliver evidence-based therapy that supports patients to achieve independence and quality of life.
In this role, you will:
- Provide assessment, intervention, education, and discharge planning to patients in community and home-based settings.
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, carers, and interprofessional teams to ensure holistic and patient-centred care.
- Manage an allocated caseload, maintaining accurate documentation and timely reporting.
- Support quality improvement, research, and service development activities.
- Participate in supervision, clinical education, and contribute to the growth of junior staff and students.
- Travel as required between Redland Bay, SMBI, and other Metro South Health facilities.

- Commitment to learning and development, actively engaging in professional growth and evidence-based practice.
- Leadership potential, including the ability to support students and less experienced staff.
- Flexibility and initiative to contribute to service development, quality improvement, and research activities.
