Your new role:
As a Clinical Nurse - Clinical Facilitator (CF), you will be a key clinical leader providing expert surgical nursing care to patients with complex needs. You will plan, coordinate, and deliver quality care autonomously while leading clinical practice, education, and research initiatives. Supporting management activities and fostering a collaborative learning culture, your role is vital to achieving best practice outcomes within our health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support clinical decision-making and supervise nursing staff.
- Coordinate team activities, manage clinical education, and promote evidence-based practice.
- Participate in research, quality improvement, and clinical audits.
- Uphold professional standards and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols, policies, and documentation.
About you:
You're an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for surgical care and clinical leadership. Your advanced clinical skills and critical thinking help you navigate complex patient care with confidence. You thrive in autonomous roles and are committed to fostering a learning environment that supports professional growth and quality outcomes. You will have a;
- Postgraduate qualification or current enrollment preferred.
- Strong clinical expertise in surgical nursing and care coordination.
- Proven leadership abilities in clinical, educational, and research settings.
- Excellent Problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development.
- Ability to supervise, mentor, and inspire nursing teams.
- Knowledge of healthcare quality standards and safety practices.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
