Your new role:

As a Mental Health Clinician with the Woolloongabba Community Mental Health Service, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care while working as part of a dedicated team. In this role, you will:

  • Conduct detailed clinical assessments, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning.
  • Provide patient education and support within a multidisciplinary framework.
  • Collaborate with clients, carers, health professionals, and community partners.
  • Participate in supervision, education, and quality improvement activities.

About you:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled clinician who thrives in a team environment and is committed to providing safe, evidence-based care. You will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications and registration as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or eligibility as a Social Worker.
  • Experience in mental health assessment, intervention, and case management.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with a client-centred approach.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, service improvement, and professional development.
  • Ability to supervise and support students or junior colleagues.

About us:

Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services (MSAMHS) delivers a broad range of specialist addiction and mental health services within the Metro South catchment. These include community-based ambulatory and residential services, acute care services in the community, psychiatric rehabilitation, consultation-liaison to hospital wards and emergency departments and addiction services. We provide inpatient services at the Princess Alexandra, Logan and Redland Hospitals. We deliver the state-wide Deafness and Mental Health and Queensland Transcultural Mental Health Services, and house the Queensland Postgraduate Psychiatry Training Unit.
