Your new role:

An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Senior Clinical Educator – Nutrition and Dietetics to join the team at Logan and Beaudesert Hospitals. In this role, you will provide advanced clinical services while leading education and service development initiatives. You will:

• Deliver evidence-based clinical nutrition and dietetic services within an interprofessional team.
• Lead clinical education and training for staff, students and allied health assistants.
• Develop, implement and evaluate quality improvement and research initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with universities and external partners to enhance student placements.

About you:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate clinical educator who is committed to advancing patient care and supporting the growth of future dietitians. You are an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with advanced knowledge and expertise in clinical dietetics.  You will also have:

• Proven experience in clinical education, staff supervision and student training.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence and mentor others.
• Demonstrated ability to lead service improvement initiatives and contribute to evidence-based practice.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
