Your new role:
As an Advanced Oral Health Therapist with Metro South Oral Health, you'll play a pivotal leadership role, managing a medium-sized team across multiple sites while providing expert clinical care and professional guidance. You'll contribute to strategic planning, service improvement and ensure the highest standards of patient care by:
- Leading and mentoring Oral Health teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centred services.
- Overseeing day-to-day operations, including staff performance, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Driving continuous service improvement through data analysis, feedback, and evidence-based practice.
- Collaborating with Principal Dentists and clinical leaders to align oral health services with organisational goals.
- Providing advanced clinical care, advice, and supervision to staff and students.
- Representing MSOH in committees, projects, and professional networks to enhance service delivery.
About you:
You're an experienced Oral Health professional with strong clinical skills and a passion for leadership, ready to make a tangible difference in community oral health. You'll bring with you:
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
- Advanced clinical knowledge and expertise in oral health therapy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with staff, patients, and stakeholders.
- Proven capacity to plan and implement service improvement initiatives.
- Current registration with AHPRA and a tertiary qualification in Oral Health Therapy.
- Current radiation licence and Class C driver's licence (with willingness to travel across sites).
