Your new role:
As Assistant Manager, you'll coordinate and oversee the administrative, human, and financial resources of the MASS Equipment Services team to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery. You'll support a dedicated team providing essential aids and equipment to clients statewide and contribute to ongoing process improvement and performance reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage day-to-day administrative operations, human resources, and budgets for MASS Equipment Services.
- Lead and support staff to deliver high-quality service outcomes aligned with MASS and Metro South Health objectives.
- Oversee procurement activities, payment processing, and reconciliation of invoices within financial delegations.
- Maintain and interpret data systems and performance reports to support operational decision-making.
- Participate in planning, policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives across MASS.
- Liaise effectively with clients, healthcare providers, suppliers, and community stakeholders to promote efficient service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with governance, safety, and quality standards.

You bring analytical thinking, sound judgement, and a people-first approach to managing operations within a complex healthcare environment.
You'll bring:
- Proven experience managing administrative, financial, and physical resources within a public or health service setting.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and develop team members.
- Advanced data management and reporting capabilities, including proficiency in information systems.
- Demonstrated experience in policy development, quality improvement, and service planning.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
