We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Officer (AO4) to support the Access Control System within the Patient Administration Services, Corporate Services team at Logan Hospital. This temporary full-time role (until June 2026) is responsible for reviewing, realigning and improving access permissions to enhance operational efficiency and data security.

Your new role:
As the Project Officer (Access Control), you'll provide high-level administrative and project support to maintain and improve the hospital's access control system. Working closely with Corporate Services, ICT, and external vendors, you'll help streamline access permissions, monitor system reports and implement business improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identify and implement strategies to improve workflow, efficiency, and system effectiveness.
- Review and realign access permission groups within the Access Control System.
- Coordinate with Corporate Services and liaise with the security software vendor on system updates, permissions, and reporting.
- Analyse reports for anomalies, recommend solutions, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide high-level administrative support including report preparation, data analysis, and correspondence.
About you:
You're a proactive problem-solver with exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a knack for improving systems and processes. You communicate clearly, build effective relationships and enjoy working both autonomously and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
You'll bring:
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects, manage data systems and deliver accurate reports.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including negotiation and consultation experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint and database management systems.
- Ability to quickly acquire knowledge of access control systems such as Inner Range Infiniti.
- Proven time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
