Your new role:

Join our dedicated team on Ward 2I – Orthopaedics at Logan Hospital, where you'll deliver high-quality, person-centred care as part of our growing Surgical & Critical Care Services team. You will:

• Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care under the direction of Registered Nurses.
• Support patients through their orthopaedic surgical journey, from admission to discharge.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best clinical outcomes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, quality, and patient safety initiatives

About you:

You are a motivated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse who thrives in a team environment and is dedicated to providing exceptional care. You:

• Hold a current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as an Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed).
• Have strong commitment to person-centred care and upholding Metro South Health's values.
• Have the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Are enthusiastic for ongoing learning, reflection, and professional development.

Logan Hospital:

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
