Are you a highly motivated and experienced occupational therapist who would like a key role in leading occupational therapists to deliver high quality, educational supports to children and students in state schools?

This is your opportunity - a permanent part time Principal Advisor, Occupational Therapy position, providing leadership to the senior occupational therapy (clinical) team across the state.

This role is offered on a permanent part-time basis, at 15.2 hours and 0.20 FTE per fortnight.

About the Role

Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

  • Direct and support the statewide senior occupational therapists (clinical) in the delivery of mentoring and coaching support to department OTs.
  • Project manage the work of the statewide senior occupational therapy (clinical) team.
  • Direct and support occupational therapists at the Borderless Therapy and Nursing Services hub (Coorparoo) in the delivery of services to support curriculum delivery and students with disability.
  • Plan and provide clinical supervision and professional development to statewide senior occupational therapists (clinical)
  • Provide expert advice on, and lead aspects of research, development, maintenance, review and implementation of operational standards, procedures and programs to support occupational therapy services across the state.
  • Provide expert advice on the occupational therapy strategic direction and service priorities for the region, and contribute to the strategic direction and priorities for the state.
  • Base location negotiable.
