Hatton Vale State School is currently seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students from Prep to Year 6. Located in a picturesque semi-rural setting halfway between Brisbane and Toowoomba, the school offers the best of both worlds with community-focused teaching and convenient access to city amenities. With 570 students enrolled for 2025, Hatton Vale is the largest primary school in the Lockyer Valley and is well-regarded for its inclusive approach to education. This role is ideal for a teacher with an understanding of inclusive practices, while experience in special education is desired, it is not essential. Staff at Hatton Vale work collaboratively to foster a positive and supportive environment that promotes success for all students across diverse learning needs.

  • Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.   • Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
