About the Role

In this dynamic position, you will champion professional growth and operational excellence for non-teaching staff, guiding workforce development aligned with QVA's strategic direction. With a focus on capability-building and performance.

You will collaborate closely with the Business Manager to ensure our teams are supported, skilled, and equipped to thrive in a digital-first learning environment.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Support the Business Manager in workforce planning by identifying skill needs, ensuring compliance with awards/conditions, and recommending strategies to build non-teaching staff capability.
  • Manage and supervise day-to-day operations of non-teaching staff (e.g. teacher aides, admin officers, cleaners), excluding professional supervision for teacher aides.
  • Oversee HR functions including workload monitoring, performance management, recruitment, induction, training, and skills development for non-teaching personnel.
  • Contribute to workforce planning by ensuring the availability of suitably trained staff to meet operational needs and support school objectives.
  • Develop and implement a professional development framework aligned to strategic goals, while promoting a service-focused, high-performance workforce culture.
