About the Role:
Reporting to the Director, the Manager will lead a team delivering strategic and responsive HR services—including Business Partnering and Complex HR Matters—aligned with the Department of Education's Equity and Excellence strategy.
This role works closely with leaders across the region and is well-supported by a network of Centres of Excellence, HR Advisory Services, Borderless Recruitment, and Occupational Wellbeing and Safety.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a high-performing business partnering team to deliver best practice HR services
- Building strong, trusted partnerships with school and regional leaders
- Driving customer-focused service delivery and strategic workforce initiatives
- Developing an agile, capable and values-aligned team
- Overseeing complex case management, industrial and employee relations matters
- Facilitating collaboration across teams and stakeholders
- Providing workforce reporting and analytic insights
- Leading team capability development and continuous improvement
