Tuckshop Convenor - Bundamba State Secondary College

Bundamba State Secondary College is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and well-organised Tuckshop Convenor to manage and coordinate the daily operations of our school tuckshop. This role plays an important part in supporting the health, wellbeing, and daily experience of our school community. The successful candidate will be passionate about providing quality food services to students while managing the tuckshop efficiently and professionally.

This appointment comes as the school transitions tuckshop operations from the P&C to school management, and we are looking for an individual who can bring organisation, energy, and leadership to this new chapter.

This position is being offered in a Permanent Part-Time capacity (0.06FTE), 60 hours per fortnight.

Unlock Your Potential:

  • Coordinate the day-to-day operation of the school tuckshop, including food preparation and counter service.
  • Identify stock requirements and place regular orders with approved vendors, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and maximum profitability.
  • Participate in stocktaking processes and maintain accurate records of all tuckshop-related operations, including ordering, receipts, and documentation.
  • Build and maintain a network of community volunteers, providing training, support, and supervision as needed.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the tuckshop and deliver a high-quality service to students and staff.
