About the Role

As the Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the school community to develop and commit to a shared vision focused on quality student learning outcomes
  • Demonstrate values-based, ethical leadership
  • Embed socially just practices in everyday school life
  • Set and maintain high standards for student and staff performance
  • Pursue lifelong learning and professional development
  • Build positive partnerships with parents, government agencies, community groups, industry, and business
  • Think strategically and plan for the future
  • Understand and apply relevant policies and legislation
  • Manage department resources effectively to meet goals
