Administrative Officer - Amberley District State School

As the Administrative Officer, you will provide efficient front-of-house and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the school.
You will warmly welcome students, families, and visitors, manage enquiries, and maintain the good order and management of the school in line with departmental policies.
The role requires strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills, with routine matters managed independently and complex issues referred to the Principal or Business Manager.

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and professional individual to provide high-quality administrative and support services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing a range of administrative tasks, including reception duties, appointment scheduling, correspondence, and maintaining school records.
- Managing student attendance processes, including late arrivals, early departures, and SMS attendance alerts, in line with departmental procedures.
- Supporting school staff by coordinating relief staff, organising excursions and camps, and preparing documents such as newsletters, reports, and school communications.
- Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing advice and support while maintaining a friendly and professional manner.
- Contributing positively to the school environment by working collaboratively as part of a team and actively enhancing the school community.
Ideal Skills:
- Experience with systems such as OneSchool, IDAttend, or Schoolzine is highly regarded.
