Pallara State School is seeking a passionate Youth Worker (A03) to join our supportive and inclusive school community, dedicated to enhancing student wellbeing and engagement.

This is an excellent opportunity for both emerging and experienced youth workers to contribute to meaningful outcomes for young people, working collaboratively with staff, students and families to build strong relationships and support every learner to thrive.

About the Role:

  • Provide individual and small group support to students to enhance wellbeing, engagement and positive behaviour
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with students to support social and emotional development
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and school leaders to identify and respond to student needs
  • Support the implementation of whole-school wellbeing and engagement strategies
  • Liaise with families and external agencies to support students at risk
  • Assist in monitoring student attendance, engagement and wellbeing data to inform support strategies
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive and supportive school environment
