Who We Are:

We are a well-established large school in the heart of Ipswich and have served the community well for over 60 years.

In 2011, we moved to our current site beside the USQ Ipswich Campus.

Step Into Your Next Chapter:

  • Develop and implement plans for library services and resource acquisition in consultation with school leadership and teaching staff.
  • Liaise with teachers to support curriculum delivery through resource provision, collaborative planning, and the integration of information literacy into teaching programs.
  • Promote a culture of reading and information literacy through engaging programs, book displays, author visits, and reading challenges and assist students to research and reference using the library facilities to enhance their study skills.
  • Coordinate and support extracurricular activities, clubs and events associated with the library such as book clubs, writing competitions, lunchtime activities and themed displays.
  • Organise and deliver library orientations, student workshops and staff professional learning relating to the library as required.
