We are currently seeking Psychologists and Provisional Psychologists who are passionate about supporting student wellbeing and mental health in educational settings.
Opportunities are available across primary and secondary schools in a variety of locations throughout Brisbane South, Ipswich area and the Lockyer Valley and Somerset region.
These roles offer the chance to work collaboratively within school communities, providing evidence-based support and interventions that make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people.

As a specialist member of a multidisciplinary team within a school setting, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and young people.
You'll work closely with students, staff, parents, carers, and the broader community to foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.
Through services such as counselling, assessment, and targeted intervention, you'll play a vital role in promoting student mental health and wellbeing, helping them thrive both personally and academically. Your expertise will contribute to early identification of needs, collaborative planning, and evidence-based support strategies.
We understand that flexibility is important, which is why the FTE for this position is negotiable.
Both full-time and part-time fractions will be considered in consultation with the successful applicant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group targeted intervention to students, parents, and families
- Offer comprehensive support to families to enhance student wellbeing
- Identify when students require external mental health support and facilitate warm referrals
- Maintain confidential records and data systems in line with departmental policies
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team and engage with school, community, and inter-agency networks

Location: Metropolitan South Region - Brisbane South, Brisbane West, Bayside (including islands), Ipswich, and Laidley district areas School Types: Primary, Secondary, and Special Schools.
