About the Role
Responsibilities would include:
- Oversee governance processes that manage the regions enquiries and complaints in line with the Department's Customer Complaints Management policy and procedure, including reporting and records management.
- Provide authoritative advice and support regional staff to ensure the regional office has quality systems and governance processes for the management of complaints, internal and external communications, community engagement, and regional operations.
- Manage, on behalf of the Executive Director, the preparation of complex reports, submissions, and briefs, in accordance with the Department's processes.
- Oversight and operation of regional Internal Review processes - allocation, proofing and reporting.
- Lead and manage a team (of 7 - 1xA07, 3 x A06, 3 x A05), to ensure timely and accurate preparation of high-quality correspondence.
- Delivery of data reporting and streamlining of processes to ensure we maintain early resolution practices.
- Ensuring implementation consistency of Human Rights Assessments in all business operations
- Working with the Central Office governance and policy team to ensure we work towards whole of state alignment in agreed practices.
