Jamboree Heights State School is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive part‑time Administration Officer to join our cohesive, high‑performing team. As a valued member of our dynamic administration team, you will be the first point of contact for staff, students, and families. This role includes responsibilities across general administration, student enrolments, attendance monitoring, and workplace health and safety. This is a temporary Part-time (0.60 FTE) position 43.5 Hours per fortnight for 6 months, unless otherwise determined.

About the role:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

  • Administration: Provide high-level administrative support to staff supporting human resources, finance, facilities, and general day to day office operations.
  • Student Enrolment: Assist with student enrolment process, which includes enrolment enquiries, interviews, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date student records and enrolment databases.
  • Student Attendance: Monitor student attendance, prepare daily attendance reports, liaise with parents/carers regarding absences, and provide support for strategies to improve student engagement.
  • Workplace Health & Safety: Assist with incident reporting, workplace safety compliance and student first aid support.
  • Community Engagement: Establish and maintain positive relationships with staff, students, parents/carers, and school community
