About Coorparoo Secondary College

Your Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Clean and sanitise classrooms, toilets, sick bays, windows, furniture, fittings and shared spaces.
- Perform. general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, hosing and rubbish removal.
- Maintain floors through buffing, stripping and polishing of vinyl and timber surfaces.
- Remove graffiti and manage cobweb and mildew control using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and monitor cleaning supply requirements.
- Operate school security systems, including locking and unlocking buildings.
- Report maintenance, safety and security concerns to school leadership.
- Liaise professionally with staff, contractors and visitors as required.
About You
The successful candidate will be reliable, proactive and take pride in maintaining clean, safe and welcoming school facilities. You will work well both independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety and inclusion. Previous cleaning experience in a school or educational environment will be highly regarded. Full induction and training will be provided for the successful applicant.
