An exciting, temporary opportunity has become available for a Principal of Ormiston State School, commencing 13 July 2026. As the Principal of Ormiston State School, you will play a vital role in delivering the vision of the department. The leadership role of Principal is critical to improving the educational outcomes of students in their schools. The Principal has a major influence on developing the quality of teaching and learning and nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

  • Promote a culture of lifelong learning through active participation in professional development and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents, community groups, government agencies, industry, and business to support student success and school growth.
  • Provide strategic, future-focused leadership by understanding relevant legislation and policies, and effectively managing resources to achieve school goals.
