About the School

Camp Hill State Infants and Primary School is a well-established primary school in Brisbane, providing education for students from Prep to Year 6 across a junior and senior campus. About the Role

Responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors and cupboards.
  • Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bays.
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
  • Cobweb and mildew control, utilising extendable equipment as necessary.
  • Cleaning of concrete, bitumen, asphalt and paved surfaces.
  • Disposal of rubbish and litter control including removal of material from drains and gutters between and/or surrounding buildings.
  • Dusting including student and office furniture, equipment and fans.

About You

  • Moderate level of physical capability
  • Commitment to following Workplace Health and Safety procedures
  • Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Time management skills with the ability to follow schedules
  • Reliable and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in a school or commercial cleaning environment is desirable but not essential (full training provided)
  • Ability to work flexible split shifts before and after school hours is essential
