About the Role:
- As the Administration Officer, you may undertake work across a broad range of corporate service activities, including human resource (HR), financial and facilities, and/or undertake a narrow range of duties relating to a specific corporate services function.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities for the efficient and effective provision of corporate services to support school operations.
Responsibilities may include:
- Oversee school administration, finance, human resources, and facilities operations.
- Coordinate recruitment, induction, training, and workforce management for support staff.
- Monitor staff compliance, leave, Blue Cards, timesheets, and Accumulated Days Off (ADOs).
- Support budgeting, financial administration, procurement, invoicing, reconciliations, and asset management.
- Assist with workforce planning, staff performance support, and professional development opportunities.
- Coordinate relief staffing and contract placements for teaching and support staff.
- Manage facilities, maintenance, contractor engagement, stocktakes, and capital works projects.
- Ensure compliance with departmental policies, legislative requirements, and governance standards.
- Maintain accurate records, data management systems, and reporting processes.
- Provide operational advice and support to the Principal and Business Manager to improve school efficiency and outcomes.
