About our School:
Riverview State School caters for students from Prep to Year 6. As a school we are very proud to be a multicultural school community that celebrates cultural pride and respect. Recently refurbished and with extensive facilities we are a modern education facility that takes pride in catering for the educational, social and emotional needs of our students utilising a range of targeted programs and excellent teaching practices. As a school we support all students including those with special needs through an inclusive education program. At Riverview State School we also offer a wide range of extracurricular activities including Music, Instrumental Percussion, dance, gala sport days, Good start Pacifica group, the Mob Indigenous group, school camp, homework club, Reading Roos and gardening programs. We also provide a wide range of programs designed specifically to meet the social and emotional needs of our students like Rock and Water and a daily breakfast program.
About the Role:
Based at Riverview State School, this role requires strong knowledge of schools, community dynamics and inter-agency systems.
You will deliver intensive, targeted case management to young people whose involvement in youth justice or child safety places them at significant risk of disengagement from education and challenges in sustaining positive education, training or employment pathways.
You will be part of the school team who will work closely with the Principal and Guidance Officer to provide intensive case management and coordination of the vulnerable young people and families at Riverview State School.
You will require experience working collaboratively across departments including schools and Child Safety as well as front line support to families and community organisations.
You will ensure that families within the Riverview community are supported to address barriers and support connection to meaningful education, training or employment pathways.
Your knowledge of State Schooling and community resources will be critical in tailoring interventions that strengthen engagement and positive outcomes.

- Case Management and Individualised support
- Collaborate with Schools and other education partners
- Family and Community Engagement
- Program Development and Delivery: Contribute to the design and delivery of targeted education programs, aimed at improving student engagement and outcomes.
