Administration Officer - Stretton State College

Stretton State College is seeking a proactive and customer focused Administration Officer to join our Corporate Services team.
Based at the Gowan Campus, this role provides administrative and operational support to the Facilities Coordinator across both the Junior and Senior Campuses. Key responsibilities include coordinating maintenance requests, contractor administration, asset and compliance record management, facilities communication, and responding to staff, student and community enquiries.
This role would suit a highly organised individual who enjoys building positive relationships, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the smooth operation of a large and dynamic P–12 college environment. Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills are essential.

Your Role
- As the Administration Officer, you may undertake work across a broad range of corporate service activities.
- Coordinate facilities management, including maintenance schedules, repairs, asset management, stocktakes and building compliance.
- Schedule and monitor maintenance works, liaise with contractors, and support capital works and minor improvement projects.
- Manage facility hire, building access, security processes, key registers and maintenance requests.
- Conduct inspections to ensure school buildings, grounds and facilities are safe, secure and compliant with departmental requirements.
- Support the management of cleaning services, grounds, furniture, equipment and school assets.
- Maintain accurate records, interpret departmental policies and identify opportunities to improve operational processes.
- Work collaboratively with the Principal, Business Manager and school staff to ensure the efficient operation of school facilities and services.
