About You:
We are looking for someone who demonstrates strong organisational and communication skills, has a commitment to building positive relationships, and thrives in a dynamic school environment. Experience in financial management, workforce planning and school administration within the Department of Education is highly regarded.
About The Role:
As the Business Manager, you will work closely with the Principal and school leadership team to oversee the school's financial, human resource and administrative operations. You will lead a dedicated administration team, manage school budgets and resources, ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures, and contribute to the strategic direction of the school.
Responsibilites include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the delivery of school business operations, providing high-level administrative support and solving complex operational issues.
- Supervise and support school support staff, including workload management, recruitment, induction, training, leave, rostering and timesheet approvals.
- Manage the school's financial and operational resources, including budgeting, payroll, purchasing, facilities, maintenance and contractor coordination.
- Build positive relationships with staff, the community and external stakeholders, providing trusted advice and contributing to a safe, supportive and efficient school environment.
