What you'll bring:
To be successful in this role, you will have strong administrative skills and ideally experience within a school, government or similarly busy administration environment.
You will be confident in supporting a diverse range of business operations, including:
- Assisting with the day-to-day coordination and supervision of support staff, including monitoring workloads, identifying workforce development needs and supporting professional development opportunities.
- Supporting human resource processes, including Blue Card requirements, Accumulated Days Off (ADO) arrangements, timesheets and providing general advice to staff regarding leave entitlements and administrative processes.
- Undertaking a range of financial and administrative activities, including data entry, maintaining registers and records, receipting, payment plans and Centrepay arrangements.
- Supporting student administration and enrolment processes in accordance with relevant legislative, policy and procedural requirements.
- Assisting with school communications, including the maintenance of websites, digital platforms and media as required.
- Supporting the Business Manager with resource and asset management, including stocktakes, facilities management, facility hire and the coordination of maintenance activities.
- Conducting routine facilities inspections and assisting to ensure school buildings and facilities meet relevant safety and security requirements.
- Assisting the Business Manager with capital works and minor works projects, including coordinating contractors, monitoring maintenance requirements and using relevant departmental and external systems.
- Providing responsive administrative support across the school and contributing to the efficient operation of the administration team.
